Well Morgan Davenport has gotten back to us saying another team has trumped my offer and I must say I'm a little shocked, giving a 31 yr old SS a 3 yr contract was pushing it, especially one who's only shown the ability to barely hit well at the big league level...guess were going with Kirk Clarke a waiver wire pickup who actually has better ratings than davenport, is faster,younger but plays a worse shortstop than Morgan...interesting to see what he signs for.
